Saya rasa terpanggil untuk menulis tentang perkara ini kerana selalu mendengar perkataan-perkataan berkaitan sifat Ketuhanan digunakan di dalam bahasa seharian dengan konteks yang salah sehingga terasa seriau di dalam diri. Antara bahasa keharian yang disalahgunakan untuk merujuk kepada Sifat Ketuhanan ialah 'Allah memahami'... `Allah Mengerti'
Contohnya adalah lagu popular 'Pada Syurga di Wajah Mu' oleh Nash
Kan ku tahan apa hukuman
Di hati hanya berdoa
Biar aku cium tangan mu
Sekali lagi bersama
Bukan sekali jalan berduri
Hanya tuhan yang pasti
Mengerti…
Ini adalah satu contoh penggunaan bahasa seharian yang merujuk kepada Ketuhanan dan melahirkan makna yang pincang. Amat tidak kena sekali bila kita menyatakan bahawa 'Allah Mengerti' atau "Allah memahami'. Perkataan yang betul untuk merujuk kepada keTuhanan ialah Allah Mengetahui. Mengetahui memberi maksud Ilmu yang Penuh sedangkan memahami membawa konotasi bahawa ilmu berkenaan belum sempurna sehingga perlu di interpolasi oleh rasa untuk menghampiri maksud mengetahui.
Apabila kita menyebut memahami atau mengerti, ia membawa maksud bahawa kita mempunyai pemahaman terhadap hakikat sebenar sesuatu ilmu itu (bermaksud tidak sama dengan PENGETAHUAN penuh). Ini adalah stesyen makhluq kerana Ilmu itu hanya ada pada Allah s.w.t sahaja sedangkan kita makhluq hanya mempunyai cebisan pemahaman terhadap ilmu berkenaan. Apabila kita sebut Allah memahami maka pincanglah maksudnya kerana Allah s.w.t adalah PEMILIK PENUH terhadap Ilmu berkenaan. Di TanganNya adalah ILMU YANG PENUH tanpa cacat cela atau kekurangan sekumitpun. Oleh itu mana mungkin Allah s.w.t memahami kerana ini menjejaskan martabat Ketuhanan yang mempunyai Ilmu dan Kudrat Penuh.
Selain dari itu ada kecenderungan artis-artis mengucapkan 'terima kasih kepada Allah' yang telah memenangkan artis berkenaan dalam pertandingan. Ini adalah juga satu kepincangan bahasa bila merujuk kepada Allah s.w.t; Zat yang Maha Besar lagi Berkuasa Penuh di atas semua makhluq dan kejadian. Terima Kasih hanya layak ditujukan kepada makhluq sahaja. Bahasa yang betul untuk merujuk kepada Allah s,w,t adalah SYUKUR.. Syukur membawa maksud kita menerima dengan penuh rendah hati terhadap pemberian dari Allah s.w.t dan pemberian tersebut tidak mengurangkan sedikit pun kekayaan dan khazanah Allah s.w.t
Oleh itu berhati hatilah kita bila menyebut sesuatu yang merujuk kepada Sifat-sifat Allah s.w.t kerana perkataan kita mungkin tidak sesuai dengan Sifat-sifat Allah yang Maha Sempurna... Wallaahuaklam...

ReplyDeleteKita perlu sensitif kepada perkara ini kerana Kalimah Tauhid adalah asas keimanan kita. Tauhid berasaskan kepercayaan kepada Allah yang bersifat dengan sifat-sifat yang Maha Sempurna. Bahasa yang digunakan terhadap Allah s.w.t hendaklah mencerminkan kesempurnaan itu. Oleh itu penggunaan perkataan-perkataan biasa dalam dunia manusia yang penuh cacat cela ini untuk merujuk kepada Allah s.w.t hendaklah dielakkan demi menjaga Kalimah Tauhid itu.
the problem with God is that we cant talk straight to him. in a world where man has assumed control over the planet and nature, a god that cannot be contacted will be rendered irrelevant. after all, all the great achievements in science, technology and civilization didn't come from a religious system (ie directly from, instead of coming of its followers) but rather from the enlightenment which secularized life. there is a danger that if god is too high, too remote, too sacred, then men will not bother to worship such a distant, silent and cold a god. if it wont lead to atheism, this will at least lead to a strong Deistic tendency.
ReplyDeletesometimes we have to talk of God in such a way to make him still relevant. otherwise, he will be a relic of older times.
ps. singers and songwriters aren't exactly what you call the top 10% of society.so to copy them in the manner they live out your life isn't a smart idea. though i agree with using casual words to describe god, using it their way would be considered a farce.

You assumption that `all great achievements didnt come from a religious system is grossly inaccurate. Some truth may be found in the fact that Industrial Revolution and Renaissance emerge as the West's rebellion against the iron clad Catholict Church that gave rise to Inquisitions and what nots and suppressed findings not in consonant to the Church's stand.
This is not so in Islamic History. Islamic Civilsation that breed great names like al Khawarizmi and Ibn Batutta to name a few is centred around the belief in God; Allah. Islam enjoin learning, thinking, reflecting, breaking the frontiers of knowledge with The Qur'an as the sole Guide and Sunnah as the code of practice.
If you're thinking of God like a bedfellow, a human friend, then you are gravely mistaken. God is inside you, in your conscience; the Guide, the Criterion, the object of your pursuit in life so that your aim is true, your resolve a hardened steel. He provide Succour when you need, He reinstate your energy when you are down, He provides direction when you are lost. He is Beneficient, Merciful and we say this at least 20 times a day (5x prayer, 2 rakaats of surah and 2 surah per rakaat). He also tugs at your conscience when you go astray, Forgives when you turn to Him in repentance, Taught you manneers, give you the good tidings of heaven when you are on 'The Straight Path'.
This the God of Islam; Allah no god but He, the Living, the Sustainer, the King of The Day of Judgement. Half the world worship Him. How can you say men will not bother to worship Him? How can this God be a deterrent to progress? Other gods maybe but definitely not this one; my Allah s.w.t.
